Kolacky

Original recipe

Being of Polish decent and having hereditary high cholesterol, there are few recipes that I can eat.  This being the holiday season, I had to publish my paternal grandmother’s favorite cookie recipe: Kolacky.  This is not what you seem to find online now; those portions are huge.  My dad and uncle would eat handfuls of these cookies when growing up as they were made so small and delicate by grandma.  This recipe takes 2 days to make as you have to chill down the dough.
