In the beginning of 1998, the car went in for a full restoration. The (now ex)wife and I spent a month of weekends stripping the car down to rolling stock. Only the engine, transmission, suspension and steering linkages remained. It spent over 4 years being restored, mainly due to the limitation of us raising enough cash to continue the process.
