1966 Ford Mustang – Part 5

After the disaster of my September 2001 trip to pick up the mustang, I was able to get out to Florida again in March 2002.  This time the car was ready to be picked up, though not completely correct.  I spent quite a few hours working on the car to make the car usable.  This included finding some missing parts, which the hardest was finding the interior fastback vent covers.  Also about half the dashboard did not work, I had to rewire the wipers and gauges.  There were things I wanted to change too, like the fuel filter and the steering wheel.

These pictures were taken while I was driving the car from the Tampa area, where the restoration shop was, back to Orlando.
